on June 28th a Pot Limit Omaha and a No Limit Holdem event starts. I would like to be there to see those.

My current thinking is to go out on June 17 for a week
This will allow me to play in Event #34 the Senior NLHE event on June 18 and Event #36 the $1000 NLHE event starting on June 19 but I would start on Day 1B which is June 20.
Right now you can book a RT flight on Southwest for those dates for $339.20 including all taxes
Right now you can book a room a the Gold Coast for that week for $281 for a Standard room and $360 for a Premium room (both prices are plus taxes and are discounted by having a Club Coast membership card) Premium room is the same size as Standard room but has totally remodeled in the last year.
Gold Coast is right next door to the Rio.

i loved the Gold Coast. i thought they were the nicest people.
I have seen the strip enough and all the huge casinos. i believe i will stay there.
i can find a cheaper flight...better get the room right away. I need to make sure i am approved for the week off.
it is time to stat pinching pennies. this time i am doing it right. going to act like an adult. lol

i have officially been approved for June 17 - 23.
I am gonna play in event 36 for sure.
and then if i win a seat through the sattys i will play another tourney during that time that fits our needs. there is a 1500 dollar shootout on the 21st.
there is also a 2500 dollar PLO that starts at 5pm on the 17th. so i could come in on the 16th and play that.
will get my hotel room and flight at some point this month.

holla! EY Event 36 is a 4 day event with two day ones and will run through June 23. So, if you get lucky (and we know you can) you would want to be able to play the final table which is on June 23. You might want to change your vacation to run thru the 24th.

heh. I have ten extra days that i can take at my leisure. When I final table that tourney, I will extend my stay a couple days.
or indefinately.

Looks like things are lining up for me to play the $1500 event on June 23rd (?). Hopefully I can find some other deepstacks in the area. If I go I'm stayin @ the Rio.... I'm a 80/20 fav. at this point. Prolly flying in on the 21st. Wish I could align it more with everyone,but I really don't have an option. I am blessed to have a 9wk vacation that is pretty much all booked up  . I'll let ya know if/when I get it locked up.

I'm coming in on the 17th and leaving on the 24th, and I believe Scott and Gianna are coming in on the 16th and leaving on the 24th, and EY is planning on coming in on the 17th and leaving on the 23rd.... and if ol' bearpaw has to run across Las Vegas Blvd again this year with you to have a drink at the Paris it will be done

We have booked our Vegas trip, Jun. 16 to 23rd, with option to stay longer if involved in any final tables. Staying the week at Caesar's Palace, flying AirTran, we did good! $1,100 inclusive for both of us. See you all there!
