It can safely be said that neither Phil Ivey or I had a "rabbit's foot up our ass" tonight.... No need for that rabbits foot when you make your own luck by calling down to the river w/ Ace high and hope you hit. I'm sure EY would agree. After all thats how you got a stack to begin with.

Better player definately won but all those hands where CADA had to suck out during the final table were definately Rabbits Foot quality. LOL. Definately made for good TV. And how the hell can you ship it for the whole enchilada with QJ?????????

Cada, like Moon, proved it takes an extraordinary amount of luck to win a tourney. He beat overcards and overpairs with baby pairs 3 times for his tourney life, and won all three. Almost an impossible probability. If ya aint lucky, ya can't win.

agreed on the Burt post. he should have been out of the tourney about an hour prior, but got so very lucky. he has been in behind against me for a month and coming out smelling like roses. that is very frustrating.
as for Cada and Moon. well. this is tough. they only show the hands that create drama. but certainly those two played about 5000 hands well and without drama in order to get there. seriously. how many times are you making a bet in position and taking small pots. its just when you get caught and then STILL get lucky and come from behind?
that is a winner.

Death, taxes and Brett making ridiculous statements. As several others have pointed out, Ivey is regarded as the best in the world by his peers. Who better than poker pros to make that determination?
Also, your comment that Ivey and Durrrr are lucky is even more ridiculous. What is your statement based on? The hands you see on shows like Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker? You do realize that those two guys play hundreds of thousands of hands a year and make millions. A middle school statistics student can tell you that it's not possible to be "lucky" over that sample size. What you see on tv is probably .00001 percent of the hands they play per year. Yet somehow you are willing to judge their poker ability on those shows (which are heavily edited as well). Well done sir.

Tampa is known for its one of a kind middle school statistics programs after all. I think they're called the Ragin Cajuns? Thanks for finally chiming in on this thread and participating.
